Marta Cartabia

I am President Emeritus of the Italian Constitutional Court. Since September 2020 I am Full professor of Constitutional Law at Bocconi University on leave from 13 February 2021 until the end of my office as the Minister of Justice of the Italian Republic.

In 1993 I received a PhD in Law from the European University Institute, Florence. Thesis: Fundamental principles and European integration, supervisor prof. Bruno De Witte.

In 1987 I earned a Law degree from University of Milan, magna cum laude. Thesis: Does a European Constitution exist?, supervisors prof. Valerio Onida, Fausto Pocar.
